Cheylan is an F4 Chausie. A Chausie is a hybrid of the domestic cat and the Jungle Cat. F4 means that

she is four generations removed from the wild cat. She had been abandoned by her breeder and

rescued by another breeder, from whom we adopted her in July of 2010. She has fit in to our feline

family very well.
